How To Use The Magnetic Horse Rug
The Equine Magnetix® Horse Rug is designed to be used in the stable and whilst travelling. Do not use this rug for turnout.
When first using the magnetic rug, start for short periods of time i.e. 2 hours per day and gradually build up over a period of a week.
This can be increased a couple of hours at a time, once or twice a day.
After this initial period, the magnetic rug can be used during the day or overnight for approximately 12 hours but no more than 16 hours.
Your horse will need at least an 8 hour break every 24 hours.
Care Instructions
The magnetic rug and neck have a sewn in care label. They are machine washable at 30 degrees. Protect in a wash bag, use mild detergent and line dry.
A free wash bag is provided with the magnetic rug.
As the magnetic rug and neck are made out of lightweight mesh material, it doesn’t take too long to dry (which is great in the winter months!).
